Are you a blogger or internet marketer in transition from employee to entrepreneur with the intent on being a side hustle millionaire? Guess what? Earlier in 2018, the European Union enforced a new law. It's the GDPR policy. The General Data Protection Regulation requires affiliate marketers, blogger and website owners to sell products and services online to place a GDPR disclaimer to European site visitors letting them know ahead of time before they buy from your site that your blog or website may possibly collect sensitive information and ensure them that you'll keep their information private if they decide to do business with you.

It requires webmasters to install a small piece of code in their sites letting people know that they must consent to the disclaimer before going forward on your site. Stiff fines are imposed for blogs and websites that have a presence in the European Union and have not yet implemented the GDPR policy. Bloomberg.com reports.
