When some folks think of Black Friday, they try to save up as much money as possible to spend on their favorite discounted deals. It could be virtually anything they can think of. But wait a minute. While some folk perfer to spend money, some might do the opposite. Maybe.
A few ways to make Black Friday work in your favor:
- Instead of fluffing up the retailer's pockets trying to buy up as many deals as possible, save your money and buy it cheaper online.
- If you must do something with your money on Black Friday, use it to start a business instead of making someone else rich.
- Take the cash you have saved for spending on Black Friday deals and put it on a gift card, so you don't feel tempted to spend it. Save the money for another occasion later down the road.
- If you have a job interview coming up, use the money to scope out deep discounted deals at stores the average person wouldn't fathom shopping at for a suit and shoes. You may be surprised how much you can get a suit and new business shoe for. Seek and ye shall find.
- If you're in college, use the money to pay your tuition. That's a positive invetsment made for your life and money not spent in the moment on something that may be of no use to you 20 or 30 years later.
Hopefully, this'll give you something to think about when Black Friday comes around. If more people used their money for starting a business rather than looking for special deals, more folk wouldn't be in debt. Agree?
