A good thing to know about the world wide web is having the ability as a marketer to build a respectable online presence while being a relationship oriented individual. Blogging on niche trending topics has a unique way of capturing immediate interest of people seeking interests that appeal to them. Streaming video stands in a class by itself to build and sustain relationships online globally with people from all walks of life. Marketers striving to succeed in a full-time internet marketing career must take into account the power of building relationships first and put off selling products and services to potential customers from search engines and social networks. Why do it that way? So they have an established rapport with their target audience before transitioning to sales mode.

    Blogging and Target Audience

Blogging is a unique way of building direct relationships with target audiences. It allows the blogger to build a business respectively while building a personal relationship at the same time. For example, a niche-based blogger who only discusses emotionally sensitive things such as everything that happens and can go wrong in personal relationships will find themselves getting numerous blog comments from loyal blog readers. Why? Possibly because the blogger is posting something pertaining to personal relationships the reader can relate to, such as breakups, getting back together, love, marriage, and divorce.

As most bloggers know relationship niche-based blogs drive immediate traffic, this places them in a positive position to be a relationship oriented blogger, not only off of the strength of posting content pertaining to relationships, but keeping a steady relationship stronghold with blog readers and receiving nonstop blog comments without asking for reader feedback. Additionally, this also places bloggers in a positive position to be seen as a relationship oriented blogger and not a transaction oriented blogger because they can have affiliated advertisements from online dating companies advertised against their blog posts from sites such as eHarmony.com, Match.com, and Yahoo personals. Bloggers earn increased revenues from relevant advertisements on their blogs by not asking their readers to click the ads and perform a transaction. An unwritten rule in affiliate marketing says in efforts of increasing online profit potential, you must first focus on œcreating quality compelling content + sustaining personal relationships with blog readers/site viewers.

Copyblogger mentions something interesting in an article saying. If you're a nice and fairly intelligent person, people can't help but feel closer to you after they talk with you. And what's the easiest way to talk to an expert? An interview. Online interviews are one of many sure shot methods of immediately driving traffic from search engines and social networks as a dedicated blogger-content marketer. When people read blogs or web pages of interviews from real people in an online interview they could relate to, this creates a personal relationship between the blogger and the reader, though the reader doesn't know the blogger from a can of paint. They feel a sense of a personal relationship with the blogger because it's most likely a blog with content tailored to their personal reading interest and acknowledge the blogger posting daily. When bloggers conduct personal interviews and posts to their sites daily or throughout the week, this also creates an image of being a relationship oriented blogger, which is good for business and also a ploy for people to share links to those blog posts on social networks, giving the blogger leverage on getting free traffic from social networks without having to lift a finger to do extra work, resulting in a potential increase in revenues from those dating adverts showing against blog posts. Online word of mouth is just as powerful as real world word of mouth advertising. Are you listening?

Blogging + Vlogging for Superior Results

Vlogging, a.k.a. video blogging is the #1 medium for attracting immediate eyeballs, shares on social networks, and traffic to online businesses without presenting oneself like a video salesperson. The power of streaming online video creates trust among the viewers. People now match a face with a voice and personality, besting the power of just reading text-based blog posts and web-pages. People are immediately attracted to video because its sometimes someone they can either relate to or personally know, such as a coworker, neighbor, ex-girlfriend, or ex-boyfriend. Perhaps even a celebrity. The power of “streaming online video subliminally creates relationship and increases sales potential without asking people to buy anything.

Savvy marketers can capitalize in an indirect way by being transaction oriented marketers by including a link in the header of their YouTube video descriptions and discussing some of today's hottest trending topics on the World Wide Web such as politics, Obamacare, weight loss, home gardening, kitchen remodeling, cooking, education, making money online full-time in affiliate marketing, and so. Newsjacking vlogs are a great way to smokescreen the agenda of trying to push affiliate links in video descriptions and looking like an online salesperson. Vlogs that have immediate ability to be seen as relationship oriented mainly consist of relationship vlogs that discuss immediate breakup between girlfriend and boyfriend. Those kinds of videos have a tendency to generate immediate comments and shares on social networks. When ads are shown against those videos such as Google AdSense and links to relevant products or services concerning relationships or shown in the header description of that YouTube video, though the vlogger is striving to be seen as a relationship oriented person, they're actually an undercover transaction oriented person. Not a bad thing. They are just being casual about pushing affiliate links and possibly more concerned with promoting quality video content and keeping their target audience engaged in longevity.

YellowPages discusses the power of vlogging and how brands benefit. They mention in an article one way to get a different creative take is to look for vloggers and YouTube stars in areas away from your business interest. For instance, how could cooking vloggers be involved in promoting a car, or vloggers promote a campaign for a food pantry drive. Using YouTube is a great way to build personal relationships with people and doing so in a way not seeming to needing to make a sale.

A famous person who values relationship building first and not a transaction oriented person is Martha Stewart. She consistently uploads creative cooking videos and relevant content about her site and company to YouTube.com just about every day. Her videos inspire people to be better cooks in the kitchen and offer creative dish ideas for the family and spouses without asking people to purchase anything. Stewart's YouTube channel possibly includes links to specific pages on her blog or website pointing to dishes or recipes for people to bookmark for future reference with relevant advertisements showing alongside the content. She focuses first on relationships and creating compelling content to keep people engaged, subliminally resulting in her online income potential from ads, suppressing the image of her seen as a transaction oriented person. And all of this is done with the awesome power of the World Wide Web, creativity, and dedicated effort.

    Conclusion

While some marketers could care less about building relationships and only have a one track mind in being transaction oriented, they may soon find themselves revisiting step #1 in putting people first before trying to make a sale. Building relationships and keeping people engaged in longevity should be the number one key focus of any newbie or savvy Internet marketer.

Most importantly, keeping site content updated daily is also one of the key factors of sustaining a positive online relationship with the target audience while not seeming like a marketer who is only concerned with making the sale. Focusing on people first and answering questions personally or providing valuable feedback without pushing a product or service on them gives marketers silent credibility, and shows true concern toward the blogger-reader relationship.

Helpful hint: For SEO purposes and possibly making more money in affiliate marketing, add your affiliate link or cloaked sub domain with a masked affiliate link in the header YouTube video description of every new video you upload to your channel. Doing so improves search engine optimization pointing YouTube video viewers to specific pages on your blog or website, and helps your site be more visible in Bing.com, Google.com and YaHoO.com. Don't ignore the awesome power of combining YouTube video marketing and blogging for your online business revenue potential, especially if you have a goal of being a future side hustle millionaire.
