Today's review of Hibachi Supreme Buffet and Grill restaurant on Kirkwood highway is half and half. Yes, half good, and half otherwise.
More Negatives on Customer Service
A Hibachi Supreme Buffet and Grill waitress did her job today the first time around serving a glass of water and clearing the table. After the first waitress cleared the table, she didn't return afterwards. More than 2 empty plates were left at the table, as another waitress standing nearby noticed and did nothing.
Do waitresses on Kirkwood Highway's Hibachi Grill do this to customers that fail to leave a tip? Looks like it possibly.
The waitress that stood by and did nothing was the waitress in the end to stop by the table and serve the buffet lunch bill for $7.99. This waitress also allegedly mumbled something to the first waitress in her native language possibly signaling her that this is a "no tip customer," resulting in the treatment of allowing the empty Hibachi lunch plates to pile up on the table.
Is this how they allegedly treat customers that don’t tip?

As mentioned, when you dine at the Kirkwood Highway HSBG “Hibachi Supreme Buffet and Grill†location, you are paying 50 cents more than dining at the other two sister restaurants Wilmington and Newark locations. Why? Last but not least, no beef and broccoli is available at HSBG Kirkwood Highway, no Chicken salad, no Cole slaw, and no sauteed Tofu available today.
'Delicious Food on Kirkwood Highway'
This is the good part about HSBG. You're going to pay $7.99 for lunch if you decide to eat there and don't mind not having beef and broccoli as an option. If you like Pepper Steak, Hibachi Chicken, delicious baby clams in Black Bean sauce, Coconut Chicken, Sushi, and Egg drop soup, you'll love getting your munchy munch on.

Everything they cook and serve is finger licking good. Doesn't matter what you put on your plate. The sushi is fresh. The grilled food is A+. Fruit is served fresh. And the sauces are all fine seasoned.
If you visit the Hibachi Supreme Buffet and Grill on Route 40 in Peoples Plaza in Delaware, the customer service is way better. They will automatically clear your table every time. Additionally, they automatically refill your glass with Water without asking, and ask you from time to time how the food tastes. They care about their customers and want them to keep coming back. Kirkwood Highway is not doing this, though their food is very delicious.
The Delaware Hibachi Grill on Kirkwood Highway has much positive potential to get more business. They have award winning Hibachi food, but need to tighten up a bit on customer service. Sometimes, people purposely don't leave a tip, just so they can see how the waiter or waitress will act next time around. The Hibachi on Route 40 doesn't act like that when customers fail to tip waitresses. Hopefully, Hibachi Supreme Buffet and Grill will tighten up their customer service game and follow Route 40’s lead in treating customers with satisfaction above and beyond, if they tip or not.
