You may find yourself being a happy camper by shopping at your local farmers market instead of the supermarket. If you live nearby a farmers market be sure to visit them weekly. Why? Fruit and vegetables are most likely cheaper in price versus supermarkets. For example, do a silent price comparison of the price of corn at your local supermarket versus the local farmers market. Some supermarkets have anywhere from 3 to 5 ears of corn packaged up selling for $2-$3 per package. You may possibly discover at your local farmers market the same corn that's packaged up at the supermarket is not only the same corn available at the farmers market at a cheaper price, but, you also get more bang for your buck. Another words, your local farmers market may only charge one dollar for 4 ears of corn. If you do the math, that's a dozen corn ears for three dollars.

Your local farmers market most likely sells seafood and poultry. Again, be sure to do a price comparison on poultry at your local supermarket versus the price of the farmers market. See for yourself how much better it is purchasing seafood, vegetables, fruit, and poultry at your farmers market. Not only would you probably get more seafood and poultry for the same amount of money you would spend at the supermarket and retail price, but, you also go home a happy camper knowing you have healthy food stocked up in your freezer. When was the last time you visited your local farmers market for quality produce and meats?

If you're not able to make it to the local farmers market or supermarket to stock up on healthy food, you can always check out the advertisement in the upper flush right hand corner of this thread and have healthy food delivered to your door. Eating right is possible for anyone who believes they can get healthier and does the transformation work towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. Be inspired to always make healthy changes and never give up.

Bottom line: Buy local from the farmer's market and help small business continue serving you fresh food and produce.
