You're on track to better health and wellness if you're sticking to your New Year's weight loss resolution. Getting back on track with your workout and goals can be challenging when beginning your transformation. Especially, if your main goal is to lose weight and get your waistline slimmer.
You've probably made some weight-loss progress and possibly stagnated a bit. It's okay. We're all human. It happens to everyone. You probably also experienced an increase in hunger during your weight loss journey. That's most likely because your body has an increasing demand to absorb more protein. Or, it can be a possible results of your fat cells taking a last stand in a gruesome fight within your stomach to want more unauthorized food going in your mouth and down your esophagus. Who knows?
If you find yourself extremely hungry after eating healthy food, there is a way to temporarily squelch the hunger.
Here's the potential solution to combat unhealthy hunger cravings:
- do cardio 20 to 30 min. in the evening and cut off food + drink by no later than 7 p.m.
- do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for one hour and wait one hour after completing morning cardio to consume a nutrient rich protein shake for breakfast
- drink plenty of water throughout the day but not after 7 p.m.
- Increasing cardiovascular activity to 2-3 times weekly has been proven to not only help reduce hunger cravings, but, promote better sleep, increased flow of endorphins, a more positive attitude, and consistent progress of weight loss.
