If you were nearby or on South Street in Philadelphia last night, you noticed how packed the street was. People were walking anywhere they pleased. They held up cars virtually from going thru green lights, outnumbering Philadelphia police officers, and enjoying the nightlife.
Some folk who wanted to just get a slice or two of pizza from the famous pizza spot known as Lorenzo's pizza on South Street were unable to achieve the "in the moment" goal. Do you have any idea what some people would go through just to get a slice of pizza from Lorenzo's? They will drive from the other side of town in Philadelphia in the middle of the night. They will stand on long lines possibly lapping around the corner just for a slice of Lorenzo's pizza. They will drive 20 to 25 miles and possibly even 40 miles just to make it to South Street and buy one slice of pizza from Lorenzo's. People will drive 100 miles just to enjoy walking up and down South Street, even if they decide not to buy pizza. Last night look like an outdoor 4th of July version of "romper room."
If you plan on driving To South St. To LorenzoandSons.com just to buy a slice or two, your best choice would be to purchase the entire pizza pie.
