These were the good ol' days of New York gaining a buzz in music. As most know, hip-hop started out in the South Bronx back in the 1970's. It gained a following and buzz in Brooklyn, Queens, Harlem (part of the Bronx), Staten Island, and Manhattan, transitioning to the west coast. These were also the days rappers didn't fight with guns; they battled each other peacefully in rap duels and strived to make peace among one another. And, graffiti was also in style during this era.
